Professional Account
A professional account gives you access to professional prices and to products reserved for practitioners. Opening one is free and usually takes one working day.
Which documents we accept
We accept any supporting document showing professional activity or training in the field of beauty therapy, podology, cosmetology, nail care, hairdressing or massage.
The country of issue makes no difference. A diploma issued in France, Italy, Portugal, Ukraine, Brazil or anywhere else is treated exactly like a Swiss one. No Swiss recognition or equivalence is required.
The document does not need to be translated: we read French, German, Italian, English, Russian and Portuguese.
An old diploma remains valid. There is no cut-off date.
Examples of accepted documents
Training
- CFC in beauty therapy, federal certificate (brevet fédéral), diploma from a beauty school
- diploma or certificate from a training institute, Swiss or foreign
- certificate of training in a technique or a brand
- certificate in podology, nail care, massage or hairdressing
- ESTHORIA Academy or KART Podology certificate
Professional activity
- extract from the commercial register or UID number
- operating permit or municipal trading licence
- professional liability insurance certificate
- proof of registration with an AVS compensation fund as a self-employed person
- professional business card together with proof of activity
- lease or contract renting a workstation in a salon
One document is enough. You do not need to provide both a diploma and proof of activity.
If you are still in training
Students still in training can open a professional account by showing a certificate of enrolment or a student card from their school. The account is opened on the same terms.
If you have none of these documents
Write to us at info@esthoria.ch describing your situation. Beauty is a profession people come to by many different routes, and we would rather look at each case than apply a rigid rule. In the great majority of cases, we find a solution.
How to proceed
- Create your account on shop.esthoria.ch.
- Upload your document in your customer area, under “My profile”. A photo taken on your phone is perfectly fine, as long as it is legible.
- We check it and approve it within one working day. You receive a confirmation e-mail.
- That's it. Professional prices and reserved products appear automatically in your account.

The two statuses
Your customer area shows two separate statuses, which do not unlock the same products.

These two statuses are independent of each other. If a product is still not available to you even though your professional account has been approved, it belongs to the Podo system and requires KART certification.

Protection of your data
The document you upload is used solely to verify your professional status. It is neither passed on to third parties nor used for commercial purposes. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time at info@esthoria.ch. See our Privacy Policy.
