Paraffin wax treatment – hands and feet
A paraffin wax treatment is not just a cosmetic treatment: the heat trapped beneath the film dilates the capillaries, softens the keratin and allows the active ingredients to penetrate far more effectively than a simple application of cream. Wash your hands or feet and check for any cuts, fungal infections or sensory impairments. The application of paraffin wax is contraindicated in cases of skin lesions and in people with uncontrolled diabetes: this check is not merely a formality.

Before applying, check the temperature on your wrist. Apply three to five coats using a brush or by dipping, and allow each coat to dry until it loses its sheen before applying the next one. A thick coat cools quickly and does not retain heat.
