The basic KART method protocol, used in most cases in professional practice. It includes all the main stages of a pedicure and is suitable for feet with moist skin and no specific medical conditions.

Cleanse the skin on your feet using KART Balancing Feet Soap (7002 / 7001) to remove impurities and lower the pH level, preparing the skin for the next steps. Do not rinse off. Pat dry with a towel or gauze pad.

Apply the enzyme peel to the entire surface of the foot, including the spaces between the toes and the top of the foot, to soften the skin and prepare the tissue for the next stages of the treatment.

Moisten the KART pedicure cotton swabs (70301) with KART Extra Liquid Remover (7032 / 7033), then apply them directly to the areas of keratosis, only to those areas that have previously been treated with an enzyme peel. This step helps to soften the tissue and prepare it for removal in subsequent stages.

Cotton applicators for pedicure – KART 70301
Wrap the foot completely in cling film, extending it slightly above the ankle without applying any pressure. Ensure that the applicators remain in place to ensure the keratolytic treatment is effective.

After 10–20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the keratosis, remove the film. Then remove the softened keratosis using a KART non-cutting scalpel.

Finish off the treated areas using KART abrasive attachments (10 mm or 13 mm in diameter, grit sizes from 60 to 180) or foot care discs to even out the surface of the leather and achieve a smooth finish.

Dry your feet thoroughly, then apply the KART cream suitable for your skin type (Soft Foot Cream KART 7719 or 7723), massaging it in until it is fully absorbed. This treatment moisturises the skin and completes the skincare routine.
