SPA foot treatment — the KART method
The only KART treatment that extends above the ankle. It is carried out without any equipment, blades or keratolytic agents: the enzyme mask performs the exfoliation instead of filing, and the refreshing gel relieves heavy legs.
This is the treatment to offer at the end of the day, in summer, to clients who work on their feet, and to anyone for whom a traditional pedicure is too technical or too time-consuming. It can also be combined as a complement to a pedicure: the refreshing gel step can be incorporated into any KART treatment protocol.
Apply the soap or foam to damp feet and legs, and massage for one to two minutes, paying particular attention to the soles. Do not rinse: wipe dry with a cotton cloth or paper towel.
Lactic acid soap restores the skin’s pH to 3.5 and prepares it for the action of enzymes. This is also why there is no need to use an antiseptic beforehand.

Apply 10 ml of gel to the calves up to the knee and massage in an upward motion, from the bottom to the top. Wrap in cling film and cover with a warm towel or blanket for 10 to 15 minutes.
Contraindications to check before application: thrombophlebitis, cardiovascular disease, active inflammation, first trimester of pregnancy. If in doubt, skip this step and proceed directly to the mask.
This step can be incorporated as it is into any other KART treatment protocol.

Apply a thin layer to the plant and the top of each foot. Do not rub in.
Do not apply to an open wound, graze or open crack.
Enzyme mask for hands and feet – KART 7731, 100 ml
Wrap in cling film or put on cellophane shoe covers, followed by terry-cloth socks. Remove after 15 minutes and wipe the feet with a warm, damp towel to remove most of the mask.
Do not allow the foot to rest on a hard surface whilst the mask is on: the client should remain in the chair.
Cosmetic film – PANW
Apply 1 ml of soap with a little water, massage each foot for one minute, then rinse thoroughly. Dry thoroughly, paying particular attention to the spaces between the toes.
Choose the product to suit your skin: 7701 for everyday use, 7702 for very dry skin.

Spray onto dry skin and nails – two sprays per foot and one per nail. Leave to dry.
The product prepares the skin for the following active ingredients and enhances their absorption.

Apply two to three drops to the skin whilst it is still warm, massaging gently. This step helps to retain the water absorbed during occlusion within the tissues.
PodoHAcid 7043 KART
Mix a small amount of cream for dry feet with 5 drops of Zipornit oil, then massage for 5 to 10 minutes.
Zipornit protects both the nail plate and the area around the nail — this is what sets a spa treatment apart from a simple cream massage.
