Cuticles and the area around the nail — home care
The area around the nail is the most neglected part of hand and foot care, and the one that causes the most discomfort: little bits of skin that you pick at, hangnails, redness, and nails that grow back ridged or split.
The rule can be summed up in one sentence: don’t tamper with the cuticle; moisturise it. A supple cuticle doesn’t produce hangnails. Home cuticle nippers, hangnail clippers and metal cuticle pushers do exactly the opposite — they damage the nail matrix, and the regrowing nail bears the mark.
This applies to both hands and feet.
One drop per nail, spread over the nail plate and all the way round the edge, in the evening, once you have finished washing your hands. Massage in for a few seconds to help it absorb.
Every evening, not just ‘when I remember’. It’s a daily routine that transforms the appearance of your hands in three to four weeks — no one-off application will give you this result.

Apply one drop to the back of your hand, then use your finger to spread it over all the toenails and the lateral ridges.
Formulated for the area around the toenail, particularly where the nail plate presses against the nail fold. For maintenance only, not as a treatment: a painful, red or ingrown toenail should be treated by a podiatrist.

Spray onto dry fingers and nails, leave to dry for a minute, then apply the oil on top.
The product acts as a carrier: it opens the way for the oils applied afterwards. On very dehydrated skin, this is what makes the difference between an oil that sits on the surface and one that actually works.

Fingernail Liquid KART 7030

When applying the cream, always finish by going over the area around your nails, one finger at a time.
This is the step everyone skips. The back of the hand gets ten times more cream than the area that needs it most.

Rich Hand Cream KART 7715

The strengthening serum is applied to the bare nail as part of a treatment programme: follow the frequency indicated on the bottle and complete the full course — it takes three to six months for a nail to grow back completely, so no product will show results in two weeks.
The serum should be applied before the oil, never after: the oil would prevent it from being absorbed.

BANDI NAILCURE BLUE SERUM – Sérum fortifiant pour ongles et cuticules
Rosemary, red thyme, lavender, tea tree, soapwort and lactic acid: this soap cleanses and soothes without stripping the skin.
The real culprit behind damaged cuticles is repeated washing with household soap and hand sanitiser. Changing your soap makes more of a difference than any additional skincare product.
